I went to a young women presidency meeting last night. It began with me asking a simple question,
"What do you think I could do better?"
President: You are doing a great job!
Counselor: I can't think of anything.
Me: oh thanks but let me know if.....
President: Actually you could hold more meetings with your advisers, Sister Doe could really use it since she would like to be more involved.
Me: Oh of course I..
Counselor: You know I hold waffle breakfasts in my home often and just surround myself with the girls.
Me: Yes I probably should do...
Counselor: I mean I just involve them in my life and have them in my home.
President to counselor: Oh yes you are very good at that.
President: Set on the calendar dates of class presidency meetings. Also are you coming to camp?
Me: Well, I, with my baby I..
President (that just had a baby): Oh I am just having my husband and (6) kids camp nearby and he can bring him to me to nurse as needed.
Me: Oh that sounds like..(death) fun!

fiction or fact jen? I am in the primary pres and let me tell you...when a meeting is canceled (like last night when my pres was sick) I shout for joy. I don't know how you do it. don't EVEN feel bad. but man. my presidency is mostly new moms with little kids (sunbeams and down) so, it's a mess, but we are all sworn to keeping things as simple as possible. man. good luck. and in the mean time, finish your scriptures;)
